Can you walk to the amphitheatre from any of these hotels?
Treat the answer as no. Even from La Quinta, walking means crossing US-301, a divided highway, and then a long walk across fairgrounds property to the amphitheatre itself. From every other hotel you are driving or ridesharing, and rideshare surge in the first half hour after a show is real. Plan on driving.
Do any of these hotels run a shuttle to the show?
None of the hotel pages we checked on the verified date advertises an amphitheatre shuttle, and fairgrounds concerts have no airport-style shuttle economy. If a shuttle would decide your booking, call the hotel and ask directly rather than trusting a third-party listing; anything shuttle-shaped here changes without notice and sells out when it does exist.
Should you stay by the fairgrounds, in Ybor, or downtown?
Book the fairgrounds cluster if the concert is the whole trip: you clear the lot, drive minutes, done. Book Ybor if you want bars and a late dinner within walking distance of your bed. Book downtown or Brandon if the show is one night of a bigger Tampa weekend. All three run on the same two roads: I-4 and US-301.
How does your hotel choice change the drive out after the show?
It is the biggest reason to care. Everyone leaves the fairgrounds through the same gates onto US-301 and the I-4 ramps, and after a sell-out the lot-to-interstate crawl is the slowest part of the night. Staying across the street means you are in bed while I-4 is still crawling; Ybor or downtown means merging west with the whole crowd.

If you drive from the hotel, buy venue parking in advance
The venue's own visit page prices general parking at $20 per vehicle plus tax bought online in advance versus $25 on event day, opens the lots two hours before the scheduled gate time, and routes general parking in via the US-301 or MLK Blvd entrances. Accessible parking enters via the Orient Road entrance and requires a visible state-issued plate or placard.
