There is no garage district here and no app that sells you a better spot: the amphitheatre sits inside the Florida State Fairgrounds with its own on-site lots, and everyone enters and exits through the same fairgrounds gates onto US-301 and I-4. Parking itself is straightforward; the exit is the part that ruins nights.

Which entrance: US-301 or MLK for general parking; accessible parking uses the Orient Road gate
The venue keeps its arrival guidance simple: the amphitheatre is at 4802 US Highway 301, and general parking enters via US-301 or MLK Blvd. Accessible parking does not use those gates at all: it enters via Orient Road, placard required, and RVs, limos and buses are excluded from the accessible lot even with a placard.

The exit is the whole game: one fairgrounds outlet onto US-301 and I-4
The fairgrounds funnels everyone to the same signals at US-301 and the I-4 ramps. After a sold-out show the lot-to-interstate crawl routinely takes 30-60 minutes. The camera above shows I-4 west of I-75 live; if it is red at 10:30pm, that is the show letting out.

Leaving strategy locals actually use
Either leave during the encore, or do the opposite: let the lot drain for 30-40 minutes (the venue does not rush the lots) and roll out behind the wave. The worst slot is joining the queue 10 minutes after the last song. If you are heading west toward Tampa, US-301 south to the Selmon Expressway is the pressure valve when the I-4 west ramp backs up.

What is the fastest way out after an event?
From a full lot, 30 to 60 minutes to the interstate is normal after a sold-out show, because everyone funnels through the same fairgrounds signals onto US-301 and I-4. Leave during the encore or wait out the first wave; joining the queue ten minutes after the last song is the worst slot.
- Leave before the encore or 30-40 minutes after the end; the 10-minutes-after slot is the worst.
- US-301 south to the Selmon is the escape valve when I-4 west backs up.
- Rideshare: expect a long walk to the pickup zone and heavy surge for the first half hour; agree on a pickup pin before the show ends.
